![]() I'm not here to rant for the sake of ranting. ![]() "pretty well" and "slow" come into a contradiction, don't they. I have to say - this is a major disappointment, and I can't whole-heatedly recommend people switch from Adobe After Effects to Resolve with these poor results. ![]() To top things off: Gaussian Blur effect in the edit page (on the background layer - a simple image) made the screen flicker. This, while Resolve is famous for using mostly the GPU (which is why I upgraded from 2080 to 3090, and am frustrated since it made no difference). We noticed that in both computers the CPU was doing all the work (utilizing 100%) and the GPU was barely used, around 2%. I tried both CUDA and auto GPU configuration.ĬPU: Intel core i9 (36 logical processors 18)Ī friend tried to render it on a computer with an IBM CPU and a 3080 GPU and it wasn't much better. that's 10 times the timeline length, it's crazy. It took 9 minuets and 11 seconds(!) to render. In the fusion page I used the delta keyer (sometimes combining clean plate) to remove the green screen.Īlso - on some clips I used the background + perspective positioner1 + blur, to create a shadow for the characters.Īll and all - not an exceptionally complex project. I have a 50 seconds-long HD timeline, most of it is green screen footage. I feel like a have to share my experience rendering a project with fusion nodes:
